As cameras roll, Brutal Brendan Byers strides into frame to find Ernie Lofton preparing for what he assumes will be a traditional contest. Brendan, smirking with that trademark arrogance, proposes a “Mercy Pin Match.” Ernie hesitates—clearly unfamiliar with the stipulation—but agrees before realizing exactly what he’s signed up for. In this format, a pin can only count if the man being pinned asks for it. For someone new to the concept, it’s a cruel twist: a match that forces a man to beg for the very thing that marks his humiliating defeat.
Before Ernie can even process the rules, Brendan launches a savage attack—driving his knees deep into Lofton’s midsection, then scooping him up by the crotch for a punishing body slam. From there, Brendan dismantles the newcomer with methodical brutality: a camel clutch punctuated by heavy chest blows, crushing suplexes, and relentless knees to the lower back. He batters Ernie with atomic drops—front and reverse—then grinds him through a torturous Boston crab, transitioning to a single-leg variation just to prolong the agony. A series of blatant chokes and shoulder blocks in the corner set up his signature sadism—a cruel over-the-knee backbreaker repeated again and again as Ernie’s body arches over Brendan’s thigh, legs spread and helpless, the veteran’s hand hooked deep for control.
Ernie fights back on pure instinct, focusing on Brendan’s arms to neutralize his power. He stomps, wrenches, and locks them down, landing knee drops, headbutts, and an expertly executed modified Rings of Saturn that nearly swings the match in his favor. But Brendan’s too seasoned, too cruel. He escapes, delivers another low blow and clamps Ernie into a figure-four that has the smaller man writhing. A scorpion death lock follows, and the taunting continues: Brendan demands Ernie “just say it,” stretching him further each time he refuses.
Somebody will say those two words—“pin me”—before this war is over. The only question is whether mercy will finally come… or will pleas be ignored as the savage torture rages on.
This is arguably one of the best squash matches Weekend Wrestling has produced; both wrestlers are talented performers who assume their roles well and put on a very enjoyable bout! Byers is a formidable heel who expertly takes Dante apart from start to finish, and Dante is the doomed jobber who never stood a chance due to a leg injury! Byers applies underhanded tactics to secure an unfair victory, frequently going for Dante’s weakened leg and his balls! He repeatedly puts Dante in humiliating holds and puts him to sleep only to wake him up again; I love how often Byers begins to pin Dante but pulls him up at the last second to continue the one-sided match! Dante sells defeat very well, and it is obvious that Byers enjoyed toying with him! A couple friendly critiques: I wish this match had been a little lengthier, and I would have liked Byers to pull/play with Dante’s hair more throughout the match! It would also be very exciting for many fans if there was a sequel match where Byers further humiliated and defeated Dante in an unfair fashion! In conclusion, this is a great round that is worthy of five stars and is a must have for fans of squash matches!
Both wrestlers have impressive physiques. The trash talking is very clever-really enjoyable to watch the back and forth
Fun Match between the two especially with the eqiupment. Great back and forth!!
