When the camera catches Jag storming into the Weekend Wrestling studios in his orange trunks, bright green knee pads, and gray-and-red shoes, he’s not in the mood for diplomacy—he wants the “turd muffin” who stole his parking spot, and it doesn’t take long before he slaps the guilty label on Dirty D and hauls the massive brute in blue trunks toward the ring. The two are already throwing bombs outside the ropes before they tumble in and turn the whole space into a sweaty, high-impact grudge session. D leans into his size and nastiness, mauling Jag with rib-crushing bear hugs and crushing reverse bear hugs, sidewalk slams that rattle the ring, splashes and elbow drops that flatten him, shoulder blocks in the corner, and a stinging dropkick that shows just how agile a mountain can move. He digs claws into Jag’s abs and pecs, bites when he feels like it, then gets meaner—grinding a boot down into Jag’s crotch, smashing him with a headbutt low blow, and knotting up his legs in a scorpion death lock while the “Spot Stealer” grinds out the kind of punishment that makes it very clear he doesn’t plan on backing down for anyone.
Jag refuses to fold, answering with his own vicious streak and that carved, superhero frame. He lights up D’s chest with heavy forearms, drops him with a Russian leg sweep, and traps him in a Boston crab—first double-leg, then transitioned into a single-leg torque—that leaves the big man struggling to drag himself to safety. In the corner, Jag tramples D under those bright shoes, then bends him around the post in a bow-and-arrow that shows off just how far the powerhouse can be stretched when the parking-spot rage kicks in. He cinches in a modified half nelson, wraps on headscissors with a nasty groin stretch and even cranks out push-ups while D’s trapped between his legs, riding the line between domination and humiliation. Sitting on “The Spot Stealer,” Jag wrenches an armbar up between his legs, digs in with a blatant forearm low blow in retaliation, and clamps on a double purple nurple that D seems to enjoy before the punishment continues. A twist of fates adds to the chaos as both studs trade bear hugs, strikes, claws, and dirty shots in a hot, exhausting barn burner between two top dogs—neither willing to give an inch of alpha status, both leaving the ring drenched, marked up, and still seething.
This is arguably one of the best squash matches Weekend Wrestling has produced; both wrestlers are talented performers who assume their roles well and put on a very enjoyable bout! Byers is a formidable heel who expertly takes Dante apart from start to finish, and Dante is the doomed jobber who never stood a chance due to a leg injury! Byers applies underhanded tactics to secure an unfair victory, frequently going for Dante’s weakened leg and his balls! He repeatedly puts Dante in humiliating holds and puts him to sleep only to wake him up again; I love how often Byers begins to pin Dante but pulls him up at the last second to continue the one-sided match! Dante sells defeat very well, and it is obvious that Byers enjoyed toying with him! A couple friendly critiques: I wish this match had been a little lengthier, and I would have liked Byers to pull/play with Dante’s hair more throughout the match! It would also be very exciting for many fans if there was a sequel match where Byers further humiliated and defeated Dante in an unfair fashion! In conclusion, this is a great round that is worthy of five stars and is a must have for fans of squash matches!
Both wrestlers have impressive physiques. The trash talking is very clever-really enjoyable to watch the back and forth
Fun Match between the two especially with the eqiupment. Great back and forth!!
