Weekend Wrestling opens with Tristan Mounts walking into the ring area announcing he’s on “pest control,” circling the ring and finally reaching under the apron to drag out Joey McCoy like he’s caught himself a nuisance he plans to terminate. The size difference is immediate and impossible to ignore: Tristan is the taller, broader hunk, manhandling Joey into the ring and trying to end things instantly with his code breaker, confident this little problem can be solved in one shot. But Joey’s dark little edge makes that confidence look premature fast. What should have been a quick disposal turns into a sexy fight over willpower, with the smaller wrestler refusing to stay handled and making the bigger man learn that control is not always claimed by size.
Joey imposing himself on a visibly larger opponent and making Tristan struggle under pressure was an outcome he clearly didn’t expect. The action includes a code breaker, cocky pin attempts, a swift goalie kick, an agonizing over-the-knee backbreaker, a straightjacket choke that gets reversed, devastating shattered dreams, a super kick, Joey’s seated dragon sleeper that he calls a demon choke hold, a vice-like squeeze with the head scissors, a will-destroying sleeper hold, and multiple soul-sucking claw holds. The appeal is in the contrast—Tristan looking like the man who should dominate, then finding himself bent, stretched, trapped, and worn down by the smaller body he thought he’d already solved. Joey doesn’t just survive the mismatch; he turns it into a display of defiance, sadistic control, and little-man domination that makes the bigger hunk’s frustration as sexy as his suffering.
This is arguably one of the best squash matches Weekend Wrestling has produced; both wrestlers are talented performers who assume their roles well and put on a very enjoyable bout! Byers is a formidable heel who expertly takes Dante apart from start to finish, and Dante is the doomed jobber who never stood a chance due to a leg injury! Byers applies underhanded tactics to secure an unfair victory, frequently going for Dante’s weakened leg and his balls! He repeatedly puts Dante in humiliating holds and puts him to sleep only to wake him up again; I love how often Byers begins to pin Dante but pulls him up at the last second to continue the one-sided match! Dante sells defeat very well, and it is obvious that Byers enjoyed toying with him! A couple friendly critiques: I wish this match had been a little lengthier, and I would have liked Byers to pull/play with Dante’s hair more throughout the match! It would also be very exciting for many fans if there was a sequel match where Byers further humiliated and defeated Dante in an unfair fashion! In conclusion, this is a great round that is worthy of five stars and is a must have for fans of squash matches!
Both wrestlers have impressive physiques. The trash talking is very clever-really enjoyable to watch the back and forth
Fun Match between the two especially with the eqiupment. Great back and forth!!
