Two fan favorites in a classic 2-out-of-3 falls match-up. ZMan enters the ring wearing his "winning vest," and per usual, makes fun of his opponent's ring attire. Max Ryder appears easy going, but he's not buying Z-Man's braggy threats, and even returns a threat of his own...to BURN the vest after he wins the match! While these boys may have more matches in the loss column, they can wrestle. If you like lots of skin-on-skin action, with plenty of scissors, ab bashing, illegal rope tactics, and sexy mat work, this is your match. Will Max Ryder's star continue to rise, or will Z-Man, the veteran wrestler/actor/model, take his opponent to school and teach him a few things about busting abs, corner work, and the dreaded tree of woe? Z-Man, rocking some gold trunks as only Z-man can, definitely serves up the punishment, but both these wrestlers use the ring to their advantage, while throwing out the rule book. This is arguably one of the best squash matches Weekend Wrestling has produced; both wrestlers are talented performers who assume their roles well and put on a very enjoyable bout! Byers is a formidable heel who expertly takes Dante apart from start to finish, and Dante is the doomed jobber who never stood a chance due to a leg injury! Byers applies underhanded tactics to secure an unfair victory, frequently going for Dante’s weakened leg and his balls! He repeatedly puts Dante in humiliating holds and puts him to sleep only to wake him up again; I love how often Byers begins to pin Dante but pulls him up at the last second to continue the one-sided match! Dante sells defeat very well, and it is obvious that Byers enjoyed toying with him! A couple friendly critiques: I wish this match had been a little lengthier, and I would have liked Byers to pull/play with Dante’s hair more throughout the match! It would also be very exciting for many fans if there was a sequel match where Byers further humiliated and defeated Dante in an unfair fashion! In conclusion, this is a great round that is worthy of five stars and is a must have for fans of squash matches!
