Pretty Boy Assassin has been a fighter and wrestler for 16 years and is as tough of a guy as they come. The gratification that he receives from inflicting maximum suffering on his opponents is something he prides himself in. Cole Cassidy took a special interest in his particular style of savagery long before he hired him and has always considered PBA somewhat of an experiment, the type that could easily get out of hand if not kept controlled. So when Cassidy noticed Brutal Brendan’s (another experiment with potentially severe ramifications) name next to PBA’s on the schedule, he decided to check out the match ringside, as he often does.
As the boss, Cole is more than a casual observer and doesn’t take well to anyone (in this case, PBA) questioning his motives. Such ‘disrespect’ may be met with certain consequences which may or may not involve some boss-type influence as to the outcome of the match. Hell, it could involve jumping in the ring for a 2 on 1 beatdown of the insubordinate punk. Hypothetically speaking, if such a lesson were to be taught to PBA, it might include Byers and Cassidy taking turns on PBA with bodyslams, boston crabs, camel clutches, and backbreakers, softening up the lower back and slowly wearing the tough guy down until he has nothing left in the tank. Then again, maybe none of that would happen at all.

Brendan was too soft with Brody! Fake movements, fake pain on the faces, fake, fake..... Normally, when Brendan is brutal, someone will "scream on the spit" at the end of the match!
Brendan Byers always dominates every opponent Weekend Wrestling serves up to him. I was glad to see Brody Merritt teaming with BBB in dismantling Scrappy. TBH, I've never liked Scrappy and so, it was fun watching him get worked over by two of my faves. Great video and great action. Thank you,Weekend Wrestling, and thank you, Weekend Wrestlers!
Once again, my guy Brody Merritt gets trounced and tormented by his opponent. It's not that I don't enjoy watching Brody suffer, but I do like a good back-and-forth battle where both wrestlers get to show their versatility. Great action! Both men played their roles well. But I do prefer seeing All-Star Super Brody come out on top.
