Pretty Boy Assassin vs Cole Cassidy
Cold Cole Cassidy has been around wrestling long enough to know when an opponent is someone to take seriously or whether his next “W” is just another foregone conclusion. This particular competitor lends itself more toward the former, rather than the latter. In fact, Pretty Boy Assassin is undoubtedly ranked in the highest level of badassery with over 16 years of in-ring experience and a wide range of mixed martial arts skill. The only tattoo this guy doesn’t have is a danger sign, warning enemies and opponents of how lethal he is. The fact that he’s muscled-up and ripped should also caution potential foes against hostile intentions, emphasis on the word “should”.
So when Cole decided to hide behind the ring as PBA was warming up then take the cheap shot at his earliest opportunity, he must have been thinking that this would create the highest probability for a successful outcome. Of course, this was based upon a couple of decades of experience, knowing that getting the early ‘upper hand’ was more than coincidental with getting that “W”. Though he probably wasn’t wrong, that fist to the gonads was anything but a guarantee for a win. In fact, it may actually have incited a particularly cruel and malicious response, clearly not what he was hoping for.
Nonetheless, a declaration of war was made and this became a battle for the history books here at Weekend Wrestling. The two veteran alpha men unleashed a riot of attacks on the other that will melt your popsicle. Cole focuses on softening up the lower back of PBA with bodyslams, a series of well-placed knees, a bow and arrow, and a double over-the-knee backbreaker that stretches the tatted tough guy in unnatural, but especially photogenic ways.
PBA uses knee, forearm and hand strikes to level Cole and executes an arsenal of submission holds with precision and detail to apply maximum suffering. He even covers him for the pin, but doesn’t take the fall because he wasn’t finished with him. PBA exhibited all tendencies of an ultra heel and never let up. When the dust settled, an alpha stood defiantly and exited the ring, but this war has only just begun.
