Zach Reno seems to have some sort of animal magnetism about him that compels wrestlers in an almost instinctual and primal way to torture him in some very unspeakable ways. Though he can be a bit cocky at times, he isn't condescending nor really even impolite, in fact, he's a rather likable guy. Whatever the force is that drives his opponents, transcends personality and connects with others on a different plane. They feel his presence and simply have an irresistible need to make him suffer. The urge isn't that of a senseless aggressiveness, but rather a slow, calculated, sadistic and very sensual type of assault ... the kind that will make you want to smoke a cig afterward, even if you don't smoke. Fans of Zach's don't watch, so much as feel his wrestling videos.

Zach is quite aware of this quality about him and he tries to prepare himself in some way before each match, but very often, he is reciprocally intoxicated by the same compulsion that drives others. While he's under its influence, he seems to yearn for the pleasure/pain his opponents are eager to hand out and no matter how intense it becomes, he's defenseless to stop or even oppose it.

So when Zach learned a little about Dominic D'Andrea's wrestling background, his immediate response was to protect himself by wearing a sports cup. You see, Dom holds a triple black belt in below-the-belt combat and what Zach didn't know was that Dom has seen that trick before.
