Weekend Wrestling opens on Zach Reno in the ring in black briefs, blue kneepads, and blue-and-black boots, wrench in hand and focused on the turnbuckle, when Sadistic Sid Shaw makes his entrance in silver-and-gold trunks, black kneepads, and silver/black/white athletic shoes offering his “help.” What Sid brings is not ring maintenance—it’s a huge hammer, and from the moment Zach reacts to it, the tone is set. This is their first time meeting in the ring, though not the last; fans who know these hunks from WrestleFest Live 2025 will recognize this clash as an early chapter in a rivalry that would later explode in front of a live audience. Here, though, it’s all intimate studio pressure, with Sid introducing himself to Zach in the most punishing way possible and making it immediately clear that he prefers his wrestling cruel, personal, and slow.
The action is built around domination, body punishment, and the kind of sensual cruelty that makes Sid live up to his name. Foreign objects are used for choking, the gut gets battered with shoulder blocks and gut bashing, and Zach is dragged through a gauntlet of illegal choking, a modified abdominal stretch, inverted Indian death lock, lower-back punishment, suspended surfboard, bearhug, reverse bearhug, excruciating Canadian backbreaker, groin-stretching leg lock, modified bow and arrow, and a long-held inverted Gory special that leaves his body hanging in helpless display. Low blows, long grinding attacks, and even nipple biting keep the punishment dirty and deeply personal, while Sid’s cocky pin, flexing, and posing make the humiliation feel as deliberate as the pain. Zach doesn’t make it easy for him, but that only seems to feed Sid’s appetite; he wants the resistance, the moans, the groans, and the satisfaction of hearing exactly what he’s causing as he toys with his opponent.

Brendan Byers always dominates every opponent Weekend Wrestling serves up to him. I was glad to see Brody Merritt teaming with BBB in dismantling Scrappy. TBH, I've never liked Scrappy and so, it was fun watching him get worked over by two of my faves. Great video and great action. Thank you,Weekend Wrestling, and thank you, Weekend Wrestlers!
Once again, my guy Brody Merritt gets trounced and tormented by his opponent. It's not that I don't enjoy watching Brody suffer, but I do like a good back-and-forth battle where both wrestlers get to show their versatility. Great action! Both men played their roles well. But I do prefer seeing All-Star Super Brody come out on top.
I'm here as a Brody Merritt fan, so naturally, I like to see him in control of the match and defeating his opponent. That's not the case here. Shockwave torments and terrorizes Brody for 98% of the match. Don't get me wrong; I can get behind watching my guy suffer (and he does it so well) too. Great match, and here's hoping Brody gets the "W: next time.
