Weekend Wrestling drops into a strange and sexy setup when Hired Gunz Bam Bam Bossio storms into the WW studio with handcuffs in hand, convinced his anonymous employer’s trail has finally led him to Elite Eliot. Instead, he finds Tanner Ripley already in the ring, geared up in bright green trunks and kneepads with white athletic shoes, while Bam Bam is all gold and black in his trunks, kneepads, and boots. Tanner insists he’s not the man in the photo, but Bam Bam clearly thinks otherwise—or just doesn’t care enough to slow down once he sees a fit young body in front of him. What follows is a singles fight charged with ego, confusion, and punishment, with Bam Bam trying to soften Tanner up before “taking him in,” and Tanner answering like a man who refuses to be manhandled just because he happened to be the one standing there.
The match is built around knockouts, body punishment, and the kind of hard, humiliating control that makes both men look dangerously good while they try to put the other one out. The action—described here in no particular order—includes camel clutches by both men, a camel clutch and dragon sleeper combo, multiple low blows, a crucifix with gut bashing and abdominal claw, multiple sleeper holds of various varieties that put both hunks to sleep, a painful and humiliating spladle, DDT, multiple punishing armbars, a trunk-yanking suplex, a belly-to-back suplex, two crotch-hoisting bodyslams, a Boston crab, a modified full nelson, a crotch lift from behind into a devastating gut buster, and leg drops from the ropes. The theme is obvious all the way through: two muscular studs trying to break the other man’s will by punishing his body, bruising his pride, and chasing that one final knockout that turns control into total victory.

Brendan was too soft with Brody! Fake movements, fake pain on the faces, fake, fake..... Normally, when Brendan is brutal, someone will "scream on the spit" at the end of the match!
Brendan Byers always dominates every opponent Weekend Wrestling serves up to him. I was glad to see Brody Merritt teaming with BBB in dismantling Scrappy. TBH, I've never liked Scrappy and so, it was fun watching him get worked over by two of my faves. Great video and great action. Thank you,Weekend Wrestling, and thank you, Weekend Wrestlers!
Once again, my guy Brody Merritt gets trounced and tormented by his opponent. It's not that I don't enjoy watching Brody suffer, but I do like a good back-and-forth battle where both wrestlers get to show their versatility. Great action! Both men played their roles well. But I do prefer seeing All-Star Super Brody come out on top.
