This fan-commissioned rematch brings back one of Weekend Wrestling’s most outrageous size mismatches: 5'2", 130-pound Joey McCoy against the 7'0", 305-pound tattooed monster VanGore. After what happened the first time, VanGore apparently wants no part of giving the little demon a fair start and opens with a cheap shot, immediately throwing his enormous size and strength around. Joey, squeezed into eye-catching hot-pink trunks and glossy black boots, takes an incredible amount of punishment but keeps coming, promising to 'suck the big guy’s soul' while the cocky giant tries to beat the evil right out of him. VanGore may have almost 175 pounds on his opponent, but Joey has made a career out of proving that bigger men can still be rendered helpless when his speed, flexibility, mean streak, and dark little bag of tricks take over.
That contrast becomes even hotter because Joey turns this confrontation into a strip match, and every layer lost turns the giant from an intimidating, fully dressed wrecking machine into more exposed prey. VanGore’s blue-and-red Superman compression gear, shorts, and layers beneath gradually give way until that huge, heavily tattooed body is reduced to tiny overstuffed red briefs, while Joey keeps hunting for fresh places to hurt, squeeze, claw, and humiliate. Choking, face, pec and abdominal claws, crushing bearhugs, camel clutches, full nelsons, headscissors, bodyscissors, sleeper holds, a single-leg Boston crab, low blows, a gorilla press, and repeated knockouts turn the rematch into a vicious battle between brute force and demonic persistence. There is something especially humiliating about watching the overwhelming favorite get stripped article by article by one of the smallest men in WW, then left exposed while that relentless little bastard keeps finding new ways to take control and suck the fight—and maybe the soul—right out of him.
Great match up. Good verbal between these 2 pro's. I think it be hot if you added some background noise such as cheering crowd noise or an undertone of ring side commentary.
Ernie Lofton doesn't look the part of a muscular, over-powering wrestler; but he doesn't need that because he has good, old-fashioned wrestling moves and holds. The match was excellent
Greco has the physique of a Greek God. I wish Greco would have been cast in a more heroic role - perhaps as the cop who arrested Mo who now finds himself as his prisoner's captive. Otherwise, a fantastic match.
